Nauticam underwater housings

Nauticam underwater housings are CNC-machined aluminium systems designed for underwater photography and video. Each Nauticam camera housing is model-specific and functions as a depth-rated waterproof housing for full-frame, mirrorless, compact and digital cinema cameras. Interchangeable ports support dome or flat configurations depending on the lens used. The housings are depth-rated to 100 m (≈330 ft) and can be equipped with an integrated vacuum leak detection system to verify seal integrity before use.

Nauticam Underwater Housings for Professional Underwater Photography

Nauticam underwater housings are developed for controlled camera operation in underwater environments. The system includes model-specific housings for mirrorless, DSLR, compact and digital cinema cameras. Dedicated configurations are available across major camera platforms including Canon, Nikon, OM System, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, ARRI, RED, Blackmagic and Z CAM.

Built for Performance and Durability

Nauticam housings are manufactured from marine-grade anodised aluminium and engineered for pressure resistance up to 100 m (≈330 ft). The construction supports reliable operation in demanding underwater conditions. This structural design maintains mechanical control access and seal integrity during extended dives and professional underwater imaging work. Each Nauticam housing is engineered for specific camera models and integrates with the Nauticam port system.

Versatile Port System for Different Lenses

The Nauticam port system provides compatibility with a wide range of lenses. The modular system allows configuration with dome and flat ports depending on lens type and shooting requirements. Extension rings ensure correct optical positioning based on focal length. Correct port, extension ring and zoom gear selection depends on the specific camera and lens combination. A detailed Nauticam compatibility reference is available in the port, gear and extension ring guide, allowing users to identify the required components before configuring a housing system.

If assistance is required when selecting ports, extension rings or gear systems, our technical team can provide guidance based on practical diving experience. Our specialists are active divers and use Nauticam underwater housings in their own work, allowing for configuration advice based on real-world application. Direct support is available for complete system setup and compatibility questions.

Complete housing configurations can be expanded with compatible underwater strobes and supported by modular tray and arm systems depending on shooting requirements.
