The AOI Modular Tray System (MDS) is a configurable underwater tray platform built from separate modular components. Instead of using one fixed tray size, the system can be expanded and adjusted for different underwater housings, action cameras and accessory setups. The modular construction allows underwater photographers and videographers to build a tray configuration around their own camera setup.

Action cameras evolve fast. One year you are shooting with a GoPro. The next year DJI releases something that catches your attention. Then Insta360 improves dynamic range or low light performance and suddenly you are considering a switch again.

For many divers, upgrading or even changing brands is part of the process.

That creates a practical problem underwater. Most housings are designed around one specific camera model. The moment you upgrade, your housing becomes useless.

We regularly receive questions from action cam users. How can I get more vibrant colors in my footage? What should I consider when it comes to lighting? Why are my shots so shaky, and how can I fix that? In this article, we share useful tips to help you level up your underwater action cam results.

Would you like to go diving or snorkeling with the GoPro Hero 9 - 13 ? We recommend using the aluminum T-housing as an underwater housing for your Gopro. The underwater housing is small, sturdy and is equipped with stainless steel buttons. The maximum depth is 250 meters! This underwater housing is a lot firmer than the standard protective housing from GoPro. Each housing is machined from one aluminum block and fully assembled and tested in Germany.

Blue video footage ? A lot of divers and snorkeler will recognize this problem when they have filmed in tropical blue water. The beautiful colors can be gained back with a color filter, to be used on your GoPro during your dive. You will restore immediately the red shades, which normally are lost, during filming. The FLIP color correction and macro system is especially designed for this. Suitable for Hero 5,6,7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

Just go diving with your Gopro /action cam in non-tropical waters and you will find out very quickly, that you need lighting for your GoPro to make colorful images. However also in tropical waters you will get better results by using extra light.

INON has introduced two new macro lenses for the GoPro. Due to the short focusing distance, you can now also capture small subjects in full frame. Normally, the focusing distance of your GoPro is about 60 centimeters. By attaching a macro lens (on an adapter) to your GoPro, you can reduce that distance to 4.8 cm.
