The housings are manufactured from anodised aluminium, may be equipped with an optional vacuum check system, and integrate with Nauticam ports, gears and accessory components.

Understanding the Nauticam port system

Nauticam uses a modular port system compatible with a wide range of Canon lenses. Selecting the correct combination of port, extension ring and zoom or focus gear ensures accurate optical positioning and full control underwater. Macro lenses typically require flat ports, while wide-angle lenses are commonly used behind dome ports to maintain field of view and corner sharpness. Some setups need extension rings to position the lens correctly within the port system.
