The AOI MDS-01-EP5-2-SLR consists of two modular 50 mm (≈2") extension plates for the AOI Modular Tray System. The plates are used to widen the frame for larger underwater housings. The extension plates are mounted between compatible frame sections within the modular AOI MDS system.
Widening the modular frame
The EP5 extension plates add 50 mm (≈2") of additional width to the tray system. This configuration is used for larger underwater housings such as the OM System TG-7 underwater housing.
Compatible with EP2 extension plates
Besides the 50 mm (≈2") frame widening, additional 20 mm (≈0.8") EP2 extension plates can also be installed. These extra spacers further increase both the frame width and frame height for larger AOI OM System and Sony underwater housings.
Modular frame construction
The extension plates are mounted using the included M3 screws within compatible AOI MDS configurations.
This allows the frame size to be adjusted more precisely for different camera and housing dimensions.
