The AOI MDS-01-EP2-4-SLR consists of four modular extension plates for the AOI Modular Tray System. These compact 20 mm (≈0.8") spacers are often used together with the larger 50 mm (≈2") EP5 extension plates. While the EP5 plates widen the frame, the EP2 plates add additional height and extra width within larger configurations.
For larger AOI and Sony underwater housings
The EP2 plates are mounted around the frame to create additional space for larger underwater housings such as AOI OM System and Sony underwater housings. This allows the frame dimensions to be adjusted more precisely to the housing size.
Modular frame construction
The four extension plates function as modular spacers within the AOI MDS system. By combining EP2 and EP5 extensions, the frame can be made both taller and wider depending on the required configuration.
