With the vacuum pump you suck the housing to a negative pressure. The built-in pressure gauge in the housing gives a display on the screen of the Smartphone to ensure that you bring the housing to the correct negative pressure. Then you have to wait a moment until the vacuum system indicates that no pressure change has taken place and so you know that you can take the set underwater with you with peace of mind.
