Please note: The SeaLife SportDiver SL400-U and SL401-U are the more compact smartphone housings in the SeaLife range. Not all smartphone models will fit this housing. The larger SeaLife SportDiver Ultra SL405 supports a wider range of larger smartphones, including many Pro Max and Ultra models. If you want additional compatibility for future or larger smartphones, the SL405 may be the better option. The larger SeaLife SportDiver Ultra SL405 is also available as the SportDiver Ultra 2500 Set, including the Sea Dragon 2500 underwater photo-video light, tray and grip system.
Info about the SeaLife SportDiver Pro 2500 Set (SL401-U)
The SeaLife SportDiver Pro 2500 Set (SL401-U) combines the compact SportDiver underwater smartphone housing (SL400U) with the Sea Dragon 2500F underwater photo-video light, tray and grip system. The set is designed for underwater photo and video use with compatible iPhone and Android smartphones.
The SportDiver housing used in this set is based on the compact SL400-U housing and supports smartphones up to 165 x 80 x 9.7 mm (≈6.49" x 3.15" x 0.38"). Compatible models include iPhone 11 through iPhone 17 Pro and selected Android smartphones. Larger smartphones such as iPhone Pro Max and Android Ultra models require the larger SportDiver Ultra housing.
The housing connects wirelessly using Bluetooth Low Energy technology and works with the free SeaLife SportDiver app for iOS and Android. Depending on the smartphone model, the app supports zoom adjustment, white balance, exposure compensation, manual focus, RAW+JPEG capture and video recording up to 4K resolution.
The included Sea Dragon 2500F delivers up to 2500 lumens with a wide 120° beam angle above water and 90° underwater. The COB LED light features three power levels, constant brightness circuitry and a 90 CRI rating for natural colour rendering underwater.
The SportDiver housing is depth rated to 40 m (≈130 ft) while the Sea Dragon 2500F light is tested to 60 m (≈200 ft). The housing includes dual leak alarms with internal moisture detection and vacuum pressure monitoring. The system provides visual, audio and on-screen warnings if moisture or pressure loss is detected.
A removable underwater colour-correction filter is included for use without the video light. The Flex-Connect tray and grip provide stable handling underwater and allow future expansion with additional lighting accessories.
