The Nauticam SFE1635-Z Zoom Gear is developed for use with the Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G lens in compatible underwater housings. The gear connects the lens zoom ring to the external zoom or focus control of the housing for direct mechanical operation underwater.
The set includes the SFE1635-Z zoom gear, a plastic C-ring and spare rubber grips. The plastic C-ring is first mounted around the lens, after which the zoom gear slides over the C-ring until it reaches the flange.
The fit between the gear and the lens can be adjusted by adding or removing rubber grips on both sides of the plastic C-ring. Spare grips are included for adjustment of the tension and fit.
After installation, always confirm that the zoom function operates smoothly through the housing controls.
The SFE1635-Z Zoom Gear has a diameter of 87 mm (≈3.43") and a height of 58.5 mm (≈2.30"). The system is designed for compatible Nauticam underwater housings and mechanical zoom control systems.
