The Insta360 X5 Invisible Dive Case is a 60 m underwater housing designed specifically for the Insta360 X5 360° camera. Its optical construction keeps the housing invisible in stitched 360° footage and compensates for underwater refraction to maintain clear images and seamless stitching. It is intended for diving, snorkelling and other underwater 360° recording where the camera requires additional depth protection.

360° underwater imaging
Refraction underwater can interfere with the stitching of footage from a 360° camera. The X5 Invisible Dive Case uses an optical design developed for underwater recording, allowing footage from both lenses to be stitched without the housing appearing in the resulting 360° image.
The case also maintains image clarity underwater and reduces distortion caused by shooting through a conventional housing. This makes the X5 suitable for recording complete 360° scenes while diving or snorkelling.
Invisible Selfie Stick compatibility
The bottom of the housing has a 2-prong mounting point and can be used with the Insta360 Invisible Selfie Stick via a compatible adapter. Combining the dive case with an Invisible Selfie Stick allows third-person perspectives while keeping the stick and housing out of the stitched 360° footage.
Protection and storage
The housing has an IPX8 waterproof rating and a maximum depth of 60 m. A quick-drying storage bag is included to protect the dive case against bumps and scratches when it is not being used. The bag can also be attached to a buoyancy control device for storage during a dive.
