The Ikelite 200DL Underwater Housing 71319 is a 60 m rated underwater housing for Panasonic Lumix S1 II, S1R II and S1 IIE mirrorless cameras. It provides access to the main camera controls and uses the DL Dry Lock port system for compatible lenses. The clear ABS-PC construction provides direct visibility of the camera and O-ring seal, while the integrated strobe connection supports external underwater lighting.

Camera compatibility

The housing fits the Panasonic Lumix DC-S1M2, DC-S1RM2 and DC-S1M2ES. It is designed specifically for this generation of Lumix S cameras. The camera installs without an additional grip or battery grip.

Lens and port compatibility

A compatible DL lens port is required for waterproof operation and is sold separately. Optical-grade acrylic dome ports and glass flat ports are available for different lenses. The required port components and zoom gear or focus gear depend on the lens being used.

Camera controls

The housing provides access to the main controls used for underwater photography and video, including the shutter release, power switch, video record button, rear dial, control dial, joystick and menu navigation controls. Dedicated controls also provide access to functions including ISO, white balance, exposure compensation, AF-ON, playback and display settings.

The large soft-touch knobs are designed for operation with or without gloves. The zoom control can be used with compatible zoom gears, allowing supported zoom lenses to be adjusted while the housing is closed.

Strobe connection

An Ikelite bulkhead and hotshoe provide an electrical connection for compatible external strobes. This configuration supports manual strobe exposure. Optional equipment for compatible TTL configurations is available separately.

Accessory and vacuum options

The housing has an M16 threaded accessory port for compatible accessories. A compatible vacuum pump with gauge can be used to pull a vacuum before entering the water, allowing the housing seal to be checked before use.

The transparent rear section keeps the camera and rear O-ring seal visible after closing the housing. This allows the position of the O-ring and sealing surface to be checked directly.
