Description

The GWA-2000 Water Alarm is a safety system installed inside an underwater camera housing. It monitors the interior of the housing for the presence of moisture or water. If a leak occurs, for example due to a damaged O-ring or an improperly sealed housing, the system instantly activates an alarm to warn the diver and help prevent damage to the camera equipment.

Operation

• A sensor inside the housing detects moisture or water.
• When water is detected, an audible alarm (siren) is activated.
• At the same time, a visual warning via an LED indicator is displayed on the housing.
