The AOI MDS-01-EP5-2-RED consists of two 50 mm (≈2") extension plates for the AOI Modular Tray System. These frame extensions are used to widen the modular tray structure. The EP5 extension plates are installed between frame sections of the AOI MDS system for larger tray configurations.
Additional space for larger underwater housings
The 50 mm (≈2") extension plates create additional frame width for larger underwater housings such as the OM System TG-7 underwater housing. This provides more internal space around the housing within the modular tray system.
Expandable with 20 mm extension plates
Besides these 50 mm (≈2") extension plates, additional 20 mm (≈0.8") EP2 extension plates can also be installed. These additional spacers further increase both the frame width and frame height for larger AOI OM System and Sony underwater housings.
Part of the modular MDS frame
The extension plates are installed using the included M3 screws within compatible AOI MDS frame configurations.
The modular construction allows the frame to be adjusted for different underwater housings and camera setups.
