SportDiver Underwater Smartphone Housing (SL400)

The robust housing is made of polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminum and optical quality glass. And although the SportDiver housing is "Heavy Duty", it is not heavy, weighing only 641 grams. It is lightweight for travel and is nearly neutral in water buoyancy, depending on which phone model is used.

The SportDiver is easy to hold and easy to use. It has a large shutter button and accessible control buttons on the back for easy operation, even with diving gloves on. Creative snorkelers and divers can use the optional advanced settings of the camera app to take their photos or videos. Such as: zoom, exposure (EV), auto / manual focus, white balance, color tone, lens selection, RAW + JPEG mode, live photo and background blur (on available phone models).

The SportDiver has a DOUBLE LEAK ALARM, including an internal moisture alarm and a vacuum pressure alarm. This warns you with a display on the screen, an audio and an LED signal. With the included vacuum pump, you can vacuum the housing at a negative pressure. The built-in pressure gauge in the housing provides a display on the screen of your phone to ensure that you bring the housing to the correct negative pressure. Then you have to wait for a while until the vacuum system indicates that no pressure change has taken place, so you know that you can take the set with you underwater with confidence. The housing is sealed with a TPE O-ring and a robust cam-lock seal latch, which closes the watertight door easily and securely.

In order to prevent the inside of the housing from fogging due to air humidity, it is recommended to use the anti-condensation capsule “Moisture Muncher” to minimize the air humidity and thus prevent as much internal condensation as possible.

The SportDiver housing is used in conjunction with the free SeaLife SportDiver camera app (iOS and Android). You can easily switch between photo and video mode.

For better image results in tropical blue water, the SportDiver includes an interchangeable color correction filter that restores natural underwater colors. The filter can be easily attached or removed underwater and has a safety cord to prevent loss.
