New 25.2MP sensor
The LUMIX GH6 includes the industry-first Micro Four Thirds™ system standard 25.2-megapixel Live MOS sensor. With the no low-pass filter, the design provides both more pixels and higher resolution for ultra-realistic details. The faster readout speed provides C4K/4K 120p video recording and 75 frames-per-second burst shooting with the electronic shutter that also minimizes roller shutter distortion.

New Venus Engine
The new Venus Engine provides approximately twice the processing power as before and enables high-speed processing of the new sensor's higher pixel counts and higher-resolution, higher bit-rate video. Image quality performance is also vastly improved.

HFR/VFR 10-bit recording
High-resolution, slow-motion recording, recently popularized in video production, is now possible with C4K/4K 10-bit 120p/100p HFR (high-frame-rate) video recording with audio. The LUMIX GH6 also offers a wide range of 10-bit ALL-Intra recording modes for high-end editing, allowing you to record FHD 240p/200p HFR and FHD 240fps VFR (variable frame rate) video. With VFR you can record up to 12.5x super slow-motion video (FHD 10-bit 24p/300fps).

7.5-stop Dual I.S. 2 (Image Stabilizer)
5-axis Dual I.S. 2 (Image Stabilizer) combines control of the Body I.S. and Lens O.I.S. to provide 7.5 stops' correction.

Unlimited 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p video recording time
The first LUMIX to offer 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p internal recording, the GH6 offers unlimited recording time when used at the recommended operating temperature (-10–40℃). Ideal for small production teams and in demanding conditions where mobility and high quality are a must. Also allows simultaneous internal recording and external recording via HDMI output.

5.7K 10-bit 60p/50p recording
Featuring 5.7K (5728x3024) 4:2:0 10-bit 60p/50p (17:9) and 5.8K (5760x4320) 30p/25p/24p 4:2:0 10-bit anamorphic (4:3) modes, The LUMIX GH6 offers higher resolution and higher bit rates than ever before, delivering the latest in high image quality, versatility and expressive range needed for film, TV and all types of video production.

Unique to LUMIX: Apple ProRes codec video
When using a CFexpress Type B card (MOV, 5.7K, 5728x3024, 29.97p/25.00p/24.00p), you can internally record ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes 422 codec videos, the professional industry standard that wants high image quality at low compression. This significantly reduces the load on the computer during post-processing and enables NLE (non-linear editing) without transcoding, which streamlines your workflow from start to finish.
