Underwater housings for Canon G7X Mark III

The new G7X Mark III has been introduced. We have the Ikelite housing in stock already. We expect the Nauticam housing within a couple of days now. The Fantasea underwater housing will be available in november 2019.

Mark III photo quality improved again

The Mark III has a new improved sensor: photoquality has improved. The number of pixels has remained the same. The camera now offers 4K video. The camera has become faster compared to the Mark II version, so you can take pictures in quick succession. The G7X Mark III is a perfect underwater camera for divers who want to be able to play with settings such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO values. Creative photos with a sharp subject and a blurred background, for example. Or a completely black background. The camera can be adjusted completely manually, but you can of course always simply shoot pictures at the automatic setting.

Underwater housings Ikelite and Nauticam already available

The Canon G7 X Mark III does not fit in the Mark II underwater housing. The underwater housings of Nauticam and Ikelite are available now. We expect the underwater housing of Fantasea for the first time in November.

The underwater housing of the Fantasea brand is the most popular among divers because of the good price-quality ratio. (If we look at the previous versions of this camera.) This housing is lightweight (polycarbonate). Waterproof up to 60 meters. All buttons of the camera are easy to operate on this compact and ergonomic underwater housing. All buttons have a label so you can clearly see which button belongs to which function. The housing has two connection points for an optical cable for connecting external underwater flash units. Ikelite underwater housing: famous American brand

Like any other underwater housing of the Ikelite brand, this underwater housing is solid. Metal buttons and a reliable closure. The housing has the new characteristic white / gray body with transparent back. The maximum depth is 60 meters and all buttons can be operated. The price of this underwater housing is slightly higher than the price of the Fantasea underwater housing.

Nauticam underwater housing: top quality

Nauticam underwater housings are milled from a solid block of high-quality aluminum. Exact and compact as a perfectly fitting jacket tailored for the camera in question. All functions can be operated by means of comfortable labeled controls that are placed as ergonomically as possible.
