More beautiful photos with an external strobe on your underwater camera

For well exposed underwater photos you need one or even two external strobe(s). Every advanced underwater photographer knows. But why? Let's explain.

To begin with: the built-in flash of your underwater camera is just the wrong place for underwater photography. With the light from the built-in flash you not only illuminate your subject,  but also the floating dirt between your lens and your subject ...The result is a photo with "snowflakes". Litter. Backscatter. That's too bad. How do you solve that? By placing an external flash on a adjustable arm. This way you can ensure that the subject is exposed from a different angle and the backscatter in front of the lens is not. The backscatter is gone!

Another reason: an external flash is more powerful and the illumination angle is wider. Perfect illumination of your (larger) subject is also easier. Despite the greater flash power, it remains important to photograph close to the subject. The less water there is between the lens port and the subject, the sharper and more contrasted the photo.

We have all kinds of models from different brands in stock. They differ in format, capacity, charging time, light angle, adjustability, presence of focus light / setting light and color temperature. In addition, we also have various arm systems. For convenience we have also composed flash packages so you won't forget anything.
